This is my local salon so I want them it to do well but I had a few issues with my appointment - the first was that the gel manicure I had didn’t set properly in the heat.
At the same time, it felt like my nails were burning/hurt when they were in the drying machine, which I’ve never experienced before from other manicures and so was a bit disconcerting. I raised this but got a shrugged shoulders from the person doing my manicure.
Two gel nails have damaged within 24 hours.

Really disappointed with my “BIAB” manicure. Was about £35/£40 can’t remember exactly now, it’s only been 2 weeks and it’s chipped like it’s normal nail polish. Very thin layer. When I’ve been to other salons it lasts 4 weeks. The shape of my nails are all different too even though I kept asking for the nail tech to even them out, some are rounded square, some are just rounded. Overall just not a great job and I feel I paid too much.

They double booked the 10am appointment with only one therapist available. The therapist tried to juggle both clients. At one point my face threading was incomplete, my waxing was incomplete and my tinting was underway.
Once I’d left and inspected my threading I can now see patches of hair left on my face and I will now need to go somewhere else. The waxing was also not brilliant and at the start the wax was too hot for me.
Having been using HoD for years, I won’t be going back.
