I had cancelled and re-booked and both times the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Central location just behind Bond Street. Our appointment was running late as the previous people were taking a very long time (they were a couple so could have been having a "romantic time"). The staff were great though and there is a nice waiting area. Went with a close girlfriend (it's not something to do in front of someone you aren't comfortable with) and we really enjoyed it. We used more than our monies worth of Elemis products and the staff took their time to explain the benefits of them. My only complaint would be that you are sitting in a relaxing environment, dark, steamy, music etc when all of a sudden the light flips on and the water starts coming down. You could do with some kind of warming. I would recommend this as a nice relaxing treat for friends/couples, came out feeling refreshed, squeaky clean and a little pampered.
I went to the Elemis Day Spa after a rather stressful day at work and it managed to not only de-stress me but fully relax me! Upon arrival the staff were welcoming and very friendly, the overall atmosphere was very tranquil (despite quite a busy bar opposite) and welcoming. The treatment was explained well by the therapist who asked if any additional oils needed to be added to the mud treatments (we went for the de-stress and it was amazing). The treatment room was spacious and welcoming with more than adequate facilities for two people. The only thing which could have been better was the after care, it would ahve been good to have products recommened which had been used during the session (this did happen to others as we were waiting for our treatment to start). Overall this was a great experience and the staff were fantastic!
THIS was my first experience of a Rasul steam room, which the therapist explained was based on a Turkish tradition of covering the body with mud and steaming to soften the skin. My friend and I enjoyed the experience of covering our own selves and then each other in 3 different types of mud (which had cleansed of impurities); one for the face and neck; another for the upper body and finally one for the upper body. We then sat in the steam room and enjoyed a gradually increasingly hot steam for half an hour, before the start of music alerted us to an impending sprinkler coming on - just like being in a rain forest. We then had an ordinary shower to get rid of any residual mud. After this, the therapist returned to explain the effects that the different oils on offer would have on our skin and left us again to make our own choices and smoother ourselves in oils. My skin was noticably smoother and softer for several days after the treatment; WILL definitely be going back.
This is my 2nd visit to the Elemis Salon and the Rasul. I will be booking a third. This is the most relaxing way to spend an hour. I love the fact that you can use all of the elemis products. I leave feeling great and smelling amazing and the effects last all day. the staff are all fantstic - welcoming and helpful and the products are a joy to use. Am saving up for my next visit.
Was greeted with a smile and herbal tea. Had Afew treatments all which were great. Therapist was friendly and professional. Great treatment room. Felt leaving fresh and lighter. Pity spa doesn't have a jacuzzi they focus on treatments Would recommend. 5 min walk from selfridges Oxford street.
