Before I found you, my original chiropodist charge £45 just to cut my toenails. So what you do for £40 is outstanding! Everyone is so polite and professional. This very relaxing a pure joy at each visit.
My nail technician started getting her own nails done by her colleague whilst I was under the dryer. Bizarre. She wasn’t attentive and just said me my nails were done without checking my nails properly. I put my shoes on, went home to change for a bridal shower, and my nails were ruined and smudged. They hadn’t dried properly and set. I had pre booked and didn’t have time to get my nails fixed. Really annoyed. I’ve never had this issue before, and on such an important day is very upsetting.
I had a female technician. She used the drill to take off my shellac, which led to damage to my nail bed. I now have dents on every single nail, which means I cannot have any product on for a minimum of 10 weeks. Cuticle work was also a painful borderline dangerous process, but the above is enough to put me off this place permanently.
Great, will come back
Manicure itself was very nice, but I've major questions about their hygiene practices. The manicurist nicked me enough to bleed (happens a lot and not in itself a big deal), but in her urgency to stop the bleeding kept touching the wound with her hands and tools, placed the bloody cotton wool on the table and then back on my hand, blew on it, and ultimately brushed topcoat over the fresh wound. I didn't see any sanitizing liquids or other means of sanitation at her table.
