Visited the Luma Practice for Pressotherapy and an Osteopathy massage with Edna.
Since the start of this year I’ve been having severe migraines and neck pain caused by TMJ disorder. I’ve been backwards and forwards with my GP and A&E as the pain was becoming unbareable. Neither my GP or the Drs at A&E have done anything other than give stronger medication which had led to awful side effects and only gave a few hours of relief. I’m currently on a waiting list for ENT treatment and a CT scan but I’ve been waiting for over a year now and the pain has been consistently getting worse.
I already regularly visit the Luma Practice for Massage with Lea which helps with managing the pain, when she heard what I was going through with my TMJ and migraine symptoms she recommended an appointment with Edna.
I’d never had Pressotherapy or Osteopathy before so was a little nervous but Edna made me feel comfortable right away. She listened to my situation, went through the questions that needed to be asked and explained what would happened during my treatment.
During my treatment she did lots of tests to see what she was able to do for me and to get an understanding of where my pain was, she took her time to make sure I was ok and reassured me and explained everything throughout. Everything she said made sense and it felt so good to be understood after weeks of being in and out of the GP without any real help at all. During the treatment and with certain manoeuvres I could feel the pain relief and once my appointment had finished the pain that I’d arrived with had lifted, it was an incredible feeling and I’m so grateful to Edna for her help. It’s the first time my head has been completely pain free in over 3 months.
I’ll definitely be booking future treatments with Edna, the results after just one were remarkable. Thank you so much!!
