The massage itself was good but I'd booked in for a 2 hour massage and the masseuse ended it after 1 hour. I only realised as I was about to leave the building what time it was, but the chap on reception (Chris) was happy enough to provide me with a voucher for the extra hour and was apologetic. It seems it was just miscommunication maybe, but it was frustrating nonetheless. I was happy enough with the actual massage and how the situation was rectified though.
Extremely thorough and felt brand new afterwards, lovely relaxing music and quiet upstairs area with no distractions made for a great experience
Okay, so here's a few of the negatives of my visit to siam spa centre. At the beginning if the massage when my therapist asked me what kind of pressure I'd prefer, I said medium - firm, however the massage for the the most part consisted of very light pressure being used which was extremely irritating, every now and then I would tell she could go a bit deeper but she didn't seem to take it on board. It just felt like she was just stroking oil on me! The treatment room itself was quite cramped and the music they had playing was not relaxing at all and every now and then the therapist would hum or sing along to the song playing! Also I had a £10 discount from wahanda which I thought I would use for a 90 minute massage to treat myself, however when I came out the building and just as I was walking up the street I realised that my treatment time had only been 70 minutes! The only two positives I can mention is that the thai techniques my therapist (eeventually) used were very good at stretching my stiff joints etc. however having such firm and almost painful pressure being used after such light pressure was a bit too much. My therapist was very nice despite her long nails occasionally scratching me! And at the beginning of the treatment my feet were placed in a bowl of warm water and given a foot scrub which was lovely. But it doesn't quite make up for how disappointing the rest of the experience was. Overall, definitely not the best massage experience I've had and I don't think I'd book again.
I had 30 minutes Thai foot massage treatment and was enjoing very much. I like it and would recommend this treatment for everybody.
I had deep tissue massage, it was nice treatment, but the masseuse combined deep tissue massage with oil massage and I didn't like this combination. But in general I was enjoing my treatment.
