The massage was one of the best I've had in a while! I had a full body massage, you get a foot scrub at the start which instantly makes you feel relaxed. Would definitely go back and recommend :)
I've been to this spa a couple of times and would rate the teatments as excellent. The girls are very friendly and keen to make sure you are enjoying the treatment throughout the duration. I was very relaxed afterwards and could possibly have fallen asleep if I'd booked for longer! Don't be put off by the entrance to the venue, as this is via a very steep set of stairs, as the spa is situated in a 3 story building above a row of shops. It isn't palacial, but as I said the girls are very welcoming and the treatment begins with having your feet washed! I will definitely be going again and would highly recommend.
My appointment was at 1130, I arrived 10 minutes early to fill out medical records etc, they didn't ask me for any info and I was left to sit in the cold waiting room, complete with table full of old, dirty coffee cups and be ignored by the receptionists until 1200. I'm glad I put 2 hours parking on! The treatment itself was fantastic, but unfortunately was a bit marred by the initial 40 minutes I was waiting. My therapist was lovely and did a really good job on the knots in my shoulders. Not sure if I would return for another treatment, as it wasn't the relaxing experience it should have been.
I booked in for a deep tissue massage and asked if she could work specifically on my neck, shoulders and upper back. The therapist did not give me and had never heard of a deep tissue massage. It was quite a nice massage but in her words 'just a massage with oil' she did spend a few extra minutes on my neck and shoulders but told me that I should book in with her colleague for a different type of massage to get out the knots. I replied that I HAD booked a deep tissue massage but she didn't understand what that was, so that was a complete waste of time and money. It also appears that they're inflating the price in order to make it look like you're getting a discount through this site. I thought I was getting a 20% discount but when I got there I realised I'd actually paid their standard price. I won't be going back.
Central city centre location. Decent prices. Fab firm pressure. The knots in my poorly back simply melted away. Will most defo be returning.
