went into the spa for my leg waxing
good points - i received an email saying my chosen appointment time wasnt available , the lady who called me was helpful and managed to get me the time i requested and was prompt in calling me back etc
Also the lady who was waxing was pleasant
bad points - very slow it took 40 mins for half a leg wax- the wax was too hot and i had patches of hair that had been missed
also the walls of the room i was in were paper thin so i could hear an entire conversation a staff member was having with a client in anther room
i would visit again for a different treatment to see if it was any better than my wax
Wahanda allows you to book your appointment on the day you wish, however, the actual salon might not have availability for your chosen date. I have been called by the owner saying that I need to reschedule because the "nail artist" is on holidays. I rescheduled for following Monday, when she was suppose to be back. On Monday when I arrived at the salon, the receptionist told me that she still isn't back and they didn't have my telephone number to cancel the appointment. Considering the fact that they called me before, that is rather hard to believe. the receptionist was giggling, saying she doesn't know what to do in this situation! I was given a refund but this experience has ruined my day and my opinion on both Wahanda and this particular salon.
