Based on the reviews I can only hope that they are not usually like this but I didn't have a good experience...
I booked an appointment for 12.15 and turned up on time. There were 3 people in the front of the studio doing customers nails. I was told to sit down and would be seen shortly.
Shortly turned into 15 minutes... During which time six other clients turned up, and some of the nail clients were seen while I was still sitting there....during those 15 minutes I had not seen anyone (staff or client) go in or out of the back of the studio.
At 12.30 I asked one of the staff doing nails when I would be seen and he said 2 minutes...
10 minutes later (ie 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment), noone had emerged. I asked the staff member again when I would be seen. This time he said 10 minutes. At this point I asked for a refund as I found him to be particularly evasive. He kept giving me reasons as to why I couldn't get a refund (ie, you paid online, manager isn't here etc), that I would be seen very soon... I said given how long I'd waited how could I believe this, as I hadn't seen anyone emerge from the waxing area I didn't even know if the person had turned up for work, was on a lunch break etc.
Finally at 12.43 after me kicking off, the lady doing the waxing came out to explain that she was running late, was doing a bikini wax and if I could wait 3-4 minutes to be seen.
While I appreciate her situation (she explained the receptionist was away and everyone of her previous clients had been running late throwing her day out), it was poor customer service. There should be better communication between her and the other people working there or even a note left out the front so customers were aware of the delays. If I'd been informed of the delay when I arrived I wouldn't have had a problem, but being made to wait in a room that stank of nail chem for half an hour without being told what was going on was pretty bad service.
Needless to say I won't be returning there!
