Arrived to salon and there was the therapist and another lady- who at the time seemed like the translator. I waited a good 5 minutes on the bed before the therapist came in. The smoke alarm was beeping throughout (new battery). The therapist used gloves to massage me (never had that before). I have had a lot of massages over the years and never had gloves before. Therapist spoke good English. Felt like I paid for too much oil to be moisturised into my body and no massage technique
The person doing massage wore surgical gloves, only had my back and back of my legs massaged, for an hour. My skin was on fire. The room had other items in there and the person could not walk round the table. The table had no head hole just a head rest which was very uncomfortable. I have travelled quite a bit and this was not normal. The person didn't say much to me, gave me a little of water when I arrived, said you are in this room, then asked which massage & oil. Not pleasant
The women were nice and the massage was fine but she was wearing latex gloves so I kept getting whiffs of rubber for the rest of the day. I've had a lot of massages and not once has a masseuse used latex gloves before. It was very odd. The head massage was free but I wish I hadn't bothered with it. She put loads (and I means loads) of oil in my hair then rubbed it in using her palms, like she was shampooing me, It was not nice and definitely not relaxing.
Good technique
The massage was okay could’ve done with being a bit more firmer Put That’s my personal preference and just one thing I’d like to mention the massage table was very squeaky maybe wise to repair or invest in a new one
