Unfortunately the staff forgot to check their appointments. I arrived there on time and the salon was locked. I did not received any message before or after... never again
I wanted to try out this treatment as I have naturally wavey-frizzy hair and I have been straightening it for over 9 years. I wanted to see if the treatment would keep my hair relatively straight without the need for heat.
I had the treatment done 6 weeks ago and I have not had to straighten my hair once! However, I still have to blow-dry my hair using a paddle brush. On those rare occasions when I am too lazy to blow-dry it, it won't be straight. I do wish I didn't have to do this step but in my opinion, it's miles better than putting direct heat from a straightener on it. I also like that it leaves my hair feeling voluminous and my hair doesn't feel flat the way it used to when I had to straighten it.
I am so happy with how long the treatment has lasted so far and I hope it lasts the full 8 weeks (the stylist advised that it would last between 6-8). I like that I can wash my hair every day (as opposed to every other day) without feeling bad about having to straighten it. It only takes 5 minutes to blow-dry my hair now and this save me lots of precious time when I'm getting ready to go out.
The salon was much quieter than I expected but I think this was down to the fact it was the middle of the week. There wasn't anything outstanding about the look of the salon, but I enjoyed the music and the stylists were lovely. They also made me a hot drink which I thought was very kind. The lady did tug my hair a few times but I suppose that was my fault because I'm too shy to speak up! Haha.
I would definitely get the treatment again but I am a little resistant since the price was increased from £90 to £100+. Breaks my heart because I was loving the old price, haha. However, it is still relatively cheaper than many other salons out there so I still recommend it! Overall I am very happy and I have been recommending it non-stop to my family and friends.
