Written by our customers, so you know what to expect at each and every venue.
I have been here before and knew what to expect... small and friendly. On this occasion it seemed to be understaffed and not as welcoming or pampering! My therapist didn’t tell me her name and I had to explain the areas of my back that I felt needed more attention but didn’t feel they were particularly focused on, her nails were extremely long and scratched me on more than one occasion! She apparently worked for an agency and got paid more was one comment during the massage! Not sure I’d return.
I bought a spa day for two as a present for my best friend. The actual treatments were really nice, and the therapists were very skilled. However, we had to have our massages separately (partly my fault since I didn't ask in advance), but there was no attempt to accommodate for this. It was understandable though. Besides that I have to say I have been to better spas, and the reception we received when we were arrived was lukewarm at best. We were sat in reception for at least 15-20 minutes before anyone came to greet us. I believe this may have been due to staffing issues, but they shouldn't allow people to book unless they have the staff. Finally, the actual facilities are good, it's quite a small spa but there is a good variety of heat treatments to use, but after a while the fun wears off.
Good Massage, poor staff facilities for money paid, wouldn’t recommend
Lovely little spa - saunas and jacuzzi were great, but the steam rooms were a little smelly! Staff were really friendly and helpful and treatments were excellent. Afternoon tea was delicious.
Wonderful day, friendly and helpful service. The spa is clearly looked after well.
