Not only were our booked treatments fantastic, the lovely staff upgraded our cream tea to full Afternoon tea and found time to fit in another treatment for both of us. My boyfriend really liked the ice fountain experience, and the jacuzzi was the perfect place to relax in while we waited for each other treatments to finish. I’d recommend getting the afternoon tea with it, as all that pampering can work up an appetite! Would recommend to anyone!
It was a lovely day out. The hotel staff were lovely, massage treatment was just ahhmazing and the dinner just round off to make it a wonderful evening.
Honestly really loved our experience we have a few minor hickups but the manger on shift was brilliant. We was a party of 3 and booked together but unfortunately we was given 1 hour slots one after another not ideal but In all fairness we booked at 4pm the day before so we can’t really complain with that short notice, they only had one therapist on shift that day! But she was brilliant really friendly and super sweet! I had a facial and a pregnancy massage it was outstanding my ONLY downfall was not so much the waiting as we was aware but there was no little relaxing massage sitting area to wait in between treatments :( the waiting area is in reception not somewhere your want to sit in your robe
This should not be sold as a spa retreat. No pool. "Relaxation area" literally 2 chairs opposite reception. Jacuzzi sits 2 people and it was mot working both days of my stay!! Spent 10 mins in the so called Spa.
Hotel seemed to be understaffed took 30 mins to have a soft drink brought to the table, then an extra 20 mins for tea and scones to arrive. At dinner food was delicious but took 45 mins for a steak to be served. On check out was then presented with additional costs for drinks which i had not ordered at dinner. In general was a horrendous experience for our annoversary weekend break
