Very enjoyable day, relaxing just as a spa day should be. Place was clean and lunch was fine. Would be nice to have a coffee made on arrival and possibly a coffee machine rather than instant. Overall great day, very goof value for money.
My third visit in the last 6 months. I was looked after by the spa therapist Kimberley once more. As usual an excellent service was provided, cannot recommend highly enough. Booked for a follow up visit to address ongoing back problems.
Working on a pc all day I tend to get very stiff around the upper back and shoulders. The therapist (Kimberley) recommended a hot stone massage to alleviate this. I could feel the benefit of the massage almost immediately and will definitely book again for further treatments. Thanks.
We had a fabulous day. We've been before so knew it would be lovely. The facilities are great and the staff are friendly and helpful. Our champagne lunch was very enjoyable. The full body sea salt scrub and warm oil nourish was good. It is our favourite place to have a spa day!
Arrived today having booked well in advance for a special treat bought for myself and husband as a a special treat by our son for my birthday.( Spa Day for 2 with champagne lunch. ) We arrived to be met by a frazzled therapist (once we found our way in!) who proceeded to tell us we weren't booked in! When I challenged that she told me that she was just back after 3 weeks on the sick and on her own and the computer wasn't working..not very welcoming or relaxing. We were given a robe and towel each and that was it for the whole day! One towel! So once wet, which doesn't take long when you have a pool and spa facilities, you then sit in the same wet robe all day, even through lunch. The facilities was ok, the pool a good size, the jaccuzzi nice and the steam and sauna rooms as you would expect. The hot relaxation beds were situated in the same room that was used for breakfast/tea and coffee and lunch, so not really relaxing!. The therapist told me all about her recent health problems, her dogs grooming session and her busy morning whilst giving me my treatment!! Half way through the session, (after I had showered off the salt scrub and was waiting for the treatment to start again, she left me to answer the phones answer machine for at least 10 minutes, whilst I lay face down on the table listening to every word! The oil massage was however lovely and she almost redeemed herself. Lunch was rather good and as described on the website, but the champagne, was a glass of pink plonk in a broken plastic flute...not champagne or classy at all. We left without being able to comment to anyone as there was no one else there...all in all an ok experience...would I go again...no probably not.
