Had a lovely day felt very relaxed, spa facilities are clean and the hot tub is great. Massage was OK, staff are attentive and professional. The afternoon tea surpassed my expectations - it was delightful! I am going to be returning for the afternoon tea next month :-)

Excellent service from Olivia , the Spa Manager's who provided a very personable service to us. The therapists were extremely good and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed the spa day experience last Thursday ;) and highly recommend it.
The Spa weekend in itself was really good. I went with a friend and we did the one night spa experience. The food was really good but the service at lunch time was absolutely awful. We waited an hour and a half to get our food which was an absolute joke. Whilst we waited another couple also waited over an hour for their food and it was worse for them as it arrived cold. They staff managed to redeem themselves at dinner when their service was excellent. Didn't have to wait long and food was wonderful. The spa staff were fantastic really friendly and generally a nice bunch of girls. The location and setting was lovely too. Overall an okay stay. Hope new hall get some staff at lunch time so they can handle the business.
The hotel was really dirty esspecially the carpets which had food debree on them for the entire length of out stay. When shown to our room the room service trays & dirty dishes from the last guests were still on the floor outside the room. We still have not had the Soa treatment yet as there was no availability for us until 3pm on the day of our check out which we could not make due to prior commitments. The hotel did give us a gift voucher to come back another time to get the treatment but this is not really acceptable & we don't know if we will bother or not. We also had lunch at the hotel & although the food that we did get was great the service was not. After being seated we were left for around 30mins before someone came to us and said "Have you been told, the chef won't do starters for you now as it's outside of our set lunch time now but you can have a main & pudding" still no one took our order for another 20 mins. When they did we asked them if we could order some drinks. We did get a wine menu but no one came back to see what we wanted to order & we did not get the wine until after our main courses were finished...This experience cost us an additional £75 in addition to the cost of the spa break. These are just some of the highlights of the stay I could continue...headless to say we will not be staying again
