Spa is beautiful but the treatments were very disappointing. Food was over priced and quality was lacking. Sorry - wouldn't recommend even with the offer we got. Took a lot of time to book, especially as the gentleman on reception originally put the phone down on me when he realised a client was on the line (he was mid a very personal discussion with a colleague).
Facilities were all great. The place was clean and well laid out. My issue was with the treatments. Both of my 60 minute treatments were cut short, one to 50 mins and the other to 45. The facial was completed without any mention of the products that had been used or what was going to happen. Twice the therapist left me alone for at least 5 mins, presumably to allow the product to do its thing, but again, without any explanation as to what was happening. But worse than any of this was the fact that immediately prior to the facial the therapist had obviously had a cigarette break. The smell of smoke was quite overpowering generally, but no more so than on her hands which were immediately applied to my face. It was a most unpleasant experience.
Everything was pretty average. Nothing outstanding. The staff were very accommodating and friendly.
