The Manor House is a nice relaxing place with a small spa , lovely jacuzzi and pool.
It is a small place , with only a few treatment rooms.
The therapist was lovely but the treatments left a lot to be desired , she was unable to deliver a firm massage and the gel nails were less than perfect.
That being said you get what you pay for and was good value for money.
The whole experience in the actual spa was a little rough around the edges - the changing rooms need cleaning and a lick of paint, better drinks menu - redbull and lucozade wasn't what I expected on a spa drinks menu, the towels were thin and rough, the beautician told me she couldn't wait to go home - I could go on! However, the lunch in the hotel was nice.
Massages was really poor. It was more of a rub and no proper massage movements it was really rushed. No hand, foot or stomach massage. I was booked in for a full body massage and mini facial. So 1hour 20 in total yet I was in and out in 1hour 5. And my facial took longer then my massage so you can imagine how rushed my massage was! It wasn't relaxing in the slightest and to honest I was very disappointed.
The spa area could do with a little upgrade. And upon arrival we were supposed to receive a glass of sparkling wine which we didn't receive as part of the deal booked. I emailed the manor and was told they would forward to the spa manager but not had a reply since.
