2nd visit to The Manor House Spa, would totally recommend it for a girly chill out day! Excellent value - couldn't be beaten; lovely, helpful staff; gorgeous surroundings; great food; and relaxing treatments! Not really any negatives for the price. If I had to say anything, it would be that it gets busy and the facilities aren't very big, so you can have to wait for a lounger, or room in the jacuzzi or pool.

The greeting was warm and personable, we enjoyed lovely food and the spa experience was ok - I say ok because there wasn't enough seats at the poolside and my friend and I had to sit on the window ledge. I did not really enjoy my treatments I'm sorry to say - the lady called me at 130 and I received my two 25 minutes treatments back to back which was a great idea. My file and polish was rushed as was my express facial and although they were express they really felt that way. I'd like to say that this is to be expected for the price etc however, the service for the rest of our day in the spa and in the restrauant was warm and welcoming but not in the treatment room. The food was great quality and tasty - we opted for dessert too which was also delicious. Once back in the spa we managed to find some seats and enjoy another swim in the clean and well kept pool.the steam room, sauna and jacuzzi were also clean and well kept. All in all we enjoyed a lovely day - great value for money. Next time I might forgo the treatments and get there early for a seat.

We had an overnight stay here for my mum's 70th birthday. I couldn't fault the place or the staff, they were all so polite and very friendly and helpful. At lunch on the first day, the food took a little while to arrive, and the girl who was on was by herself (not sure if that was due to staff absence), but despite this she was polite and apologetic, and always offered more drinks etc, and when the food did arrive, it was delicious. Evening dinner was a different menu, and it was also delicious and excellent value. A great stay for us, thank you!!
