the treatment felt rushed and if it was problem us being there. the staff where clueless through out, the reception lady tried to charge me again for the room and i had to get my bank statement up to prove id paid even though i had a booking email in my hand she shouted through to someone in and office behind her there was no apology or explanation . no diet drinks available. we had to ask for drinks non where offered and we were not told where we could fine them. The floor all over was filthy, the showers on all three where blocked full of hair, and dirty puddles of water all over the changing rooms that had clearly been there a long time the toilets had paper thrown all over through out . The tables next to the pool where full of cups when we arrived and it was well over and hour before they where cleared despite it being a very quite evening we stayed for almost 2 hours and not once where they wiped over. The robe my partner had was also full of black marks. The room in the hotel was clean but very cold we spent the whole night huddled round the radiator. we where told when we arrived breakfast was served until 9.30am we went down at 9.15am and where not the last to arrive, the waitress was clearly disappointed to have customers in.
I've been a few times to the Manor House using the spa. The value for money is great. Two treatments and a light lunch is worth the price we payed. Myself and my friends loved our treatments administrated by lovely, polite and well trained girls. The light lunch was delicious and very filling and staff very polite and accomadating. Over all we loved our visit and I will be definitely back.
it was far too crowded! people were struggling to get a seat around the pool. I left early as I was so uncomfortable - and even more people were arriving as I was going out the door. not relaxing at all. I was getting constantly dripped on from the ceiling over the seating area. the food was nice but the menu choice was very limited. there were options on the actual lunch time menu (for the same price as what I was allowed to choose from) that were not available to me that I would have much preferred.
