We’ve been to the spa a number of times over the last few years, always as a party of 6 but this time was definitely a disappointment! The jacuzzi wasn’t working, we had to wait 25 minutes before we ate lunch and the staff seemed to struggle to find us a table. We have always had lunch in our robes but were told we had to get dressed before we went into the dining room as it was a Sunday (even though all of our visits in the past have been a Sunday). The lunch was very poor quality and not enjoyable at all.
The newly added glass seating area in the spa looks lovely but there are not enough beds for the amount of people that are booked in.
Overall we were very disappointed and will probably not be re-booking in the future.
I bought this spa day as a Christmas gift and it was such a lovely day and the girl who did my treatments was so lovely! Made me feel so relaxed. Would come again!
Beautiful surroundings, fabulous food, very friendly staff and lovely spa treatments, thoroughly relaxing overnight stay, perfect! Excellent value for money.
