I booked a Luxury Spa Day for two for a clients birthday surprise through lastminute.com. I encountered problems on their website stating I should refresh and book later making clear my transaction hadn't processed. I did this 7 times and finally received one confirmation through to my email. After checking my online banking, to my horror wahanda had taken 7 transactions instead of one, meaning I was owed £828.00. After speaking to customer services they reassured me the money would be back in my bank account after 48 hours. It wasn't and had I to ring the bank daily to see what was going on. ( Absolute pain / nightmare ) Even though I had rang up previously to book all appointments and arranged times with the spa staff, we turned up on the day with no sign of our records / names. ( Highly embarrassing. ) We were then told that our original appointment slots had been taken and had to rearrange the itinerary for the day, involving having to ring other clients to ask them to rearrange their itinerarys so they were able to meet us for lunch. We couldn't fault the back, neck and shoulder massage although we both didn't expect to be applying the Rasul Thermal Mud Heaven ourselves as we were expecting to be 'pampered' for the day. The advertisement should have made this clear. After having our treatments back to back we then broke for lunch. Our main meals were very dry and bland, we made the staff aware of this, but none of them seemed bothered by it. We continuoisly had remind the staff for the bottle of sparkling water we'd ordered and over heard other guests asking for drinks they were still waiting for. Unfortunately we will not bring clients or recommend the day to others as it did not live up to expectations. It's safe to say we won't be returning.
Staff are friendly. Massage was really good. The only reason I have not give 5 stars is that the treatment was 15 mins late and the waiting area was a bit cold.
Wonderful experience everything was fabulous would recommend it to all our friends pool and spar first class room amazing nice extras biscuits coffee tea and welcome on TV screen and of course mere cat on bed will definitely be back
Really enjoyed our stay, will definitely return again and only issue was bathroom wasn't great in our room. Breakfast was nice, just very busy so would return on a quieter day.
