The facilities at the mere are wonderful, there was plenty of beds to relax on. The massage was lovely and relaxing and the staff were attentive.

Lovely, great location, the place was beautiful. Great facilities but we booked an overnight spa stay for my husband's birthday and, although the facilities were excellent, we were not informed that the place basically turns into your local swimming pool at around 3.30pm. A number of families with young children arrived at the pool and were particularly loud and disruptive. This meant that we had spent the day relaxing only to have the ambience spoilt in the afternoon! We felt like we had to leave the spa area - the pool was full of children and ruined the atmosphere. If you go for a spa day I would recommend arriving early and be prepared to leave at 3pm.
Really lovely spa with a lot of good thermal rooms. Great value and we all enjoyed our mother's day treat.
