A friend and I did the massage and sharing platter deal and we were very impressed. a good firm massage and were luck enough to enjoy the (almost) summer weather on the Yacht's terrace with lunch which was far more generous a portion than I expected. Would definitely recommend.
My daughter and I had an afternoon tea and treatment package and it was heavenly. The massage and facial were wonderful. Our therapists were polite, friendly and very knowledgeable. I would thoroughly recommend this place.
We loved it very elegant posh the staff very polite and helpful they seem very happy. The room was very lovely.
Lovely experience, friendly staff and great attention to detail.
This was booked for my fiancé as a birthday present so that we can enjoy a luxurious experience and therefore the expectation was that this was going to be exceptionally superior. We checked in for 1 night which my package included accommodation, 3 course dinner, breakfast and massages for 2. Upon check in, we were told that the room was ready with a cot for our infant son, but when we got to the room there was no cot as described by the receptionist. Therefore I had to phone them up to get this set up in the room. When the staff arrived and did this, there were old linen on the cot with some crumbs or something resembling crumbs and whilst they removed the old and replaced with new linen after setting up the cot, unfortunately they left the room with crumbs on the floor and walked off. I was surprised at this as well as the run down condition of the cot with exposed and broken bits out. The dinner was lovely but on exiting the restaurant, I was being asked to sign off for the extra charges (which I expected to be the drinks) but they'd included the cost of the desserts as well and when I asked why, Teodora informed me that it wasn't included and I needed to pay separately for that. I requested clarification as I knew that my package included 3 courses and when she checked this, she then realised that I was right and she had to revise and reprint the bill. You'd think for such a hotel that classes itself as luxurious and the only super yacht in London would not have staff making such errors. We arrived for breakfast the next morning and was frankly told by one of the 2 members of staff at the desk that breakfast was not included and when I insisted it was, only then the waiting staff double checked and told the other lady that it is included and that she should still check, which was quite embarrassing actually. Lastly, we both had massages and it was the best massage ever that we had in London or anywhere. They were excellent and truly relaxed us both. We would definitely return to Sunborn yacht hotel, but would ONLY be for the massage. The dinner was delicious and breakfast was good. The room could be definitely improved as was lacking some essential items like the biscuits, the towels had stains as well as the duvet and the heating in the bathroom was too much as could not be controlled us, however a nice time, but shame it disappointed us to some extent. We've stayed in some really lovely hotels before and expected similar or higher standards based on the detail/description on the website.
