I had the Mama’s Treat and I was put on my back on a therapy bed and covered with a duvet for the treatment. At 32 weeks pregnant it was too long to be on my back and I was praying it would end soon by an hour in as I was feeling very sick and uncomfortable from pressure on my back and being too hot. I had read up on the treatment before going and thought I’d be in a chair, but was too embarrassed to say anything while I was there. I would do it again but not as a pregnancy treatment.

It felt a bit more painful that it usually is/needs to be. This was partly due to her having to go over some areas several times, which left me with red bumpy patches for 48 hours after. There was a fair amount of hair to remove which she mostly managed to remove but there are still individual hairs remaining which could have been sweezed out.
