Went for a couples massage for my boyfriend's birthday. He had never had a professional massage before. It was very relaxing and helped ease my tense muscles. The studio is small but homely and clean. The massage room was warm.
I prefer to drift away and not chat when I'm being treated. Also there was lots of mix up with my booking as the day before my appointment was cancelled as it had been double booked. Staff were unhelpful about rebooking just saying there was nothing they could do about the mistake and the manager was hostile when I was the one who was understandably ennoyed. I was not given any compensation or extras as an apology.
Not too happy with the massage as the staff kept stopping and you could tell they were talking in between the massage which made us feel uncomfortable. Didn’t get the option either for the hot stone combination. Went before and was good the first time. However 2nd time was a let down.
Booked a birthday treat for my partner and couples massage. So excited advised them of this on booking. On the day I received a call cancelling the whole thing staff sickness. Spoilt the whole day still waiting for refund nothing else was planned. Don't book if your counting on it or special occasion the disappointment was real.
