A lovely visit, most lockers were broken staff said they were being replaced. Staff were brilliant, a small but lovely spa.
The stress relief massage & the Indian head massage were absolutely amazing. Tanya is fantastic. As a single Mum of 4 kids I'm now finally getting good quality sleep after the massages. I was a bit disappointed that there was a bogof on massages in August and Treatwell didn't advertise it, only Urban, so I paid £50 instead of £25. The hotel is lovely but the size of the pool & it's cool temperature let's it down, and when I went sadly the jacuzzi was out of order but otherwise I had an amazing relaxing afternoon experience. The hotel was well located and easy to find. The approach was pleasant enough and there was ample parking.
We had arrived a little early after travelling some distance but the staff were pleasant and allowed us to book in.
The decor was quite tired and ready for an update. The room was pleasant and the bed extremely comfortable.
We visited the spa to book treatments for the next morning and were shown around the facilities which appeared busy but not crowded.
Dinner was excellent but service quite slow.
Treatment at the spa was very good indeed. The girls passed easy conversation without being intrusive or gushing which led to an easy relaxing atmosphere.
At checkout, I mentioned the slow service at dinner. The lady at reception apologised and awarded us with no charge for the wine at dinner.
Overall, we had a pleasant, relaxing stay. I have no problems recommending this venue and service.
The staff were great and very friendly. The massages were perfect for us all. Would go again.
