Facilities were small and a bit overcrowded but had what they promised. The staff was really nice although got confused on the admin bits, the massage was relaxing, really good afternoon tea. Overall really good value for the price.
Awful, the hotel was not a spa and should not be sold as one. The pool was being used for swimming lessons so we couldn't use it after 12, there were two loungers by the pool so we had to sit on chairs to 'relax'. It was unorganised and amateur. I didn't have one treatment as my mum and sister would have had to sit around with nothing to do so we left with a promise of a refund for the extra treatment and they said we would get a refund direct for Wahanda.
On arrival the hotel could only be described as a little tired, but the staff did everything to make you welcome and to make our experience enjoyable. The gym and the pool were quite small, but were clean and functional. The afternoon tea was lovely, with a glass of Prosecco complete with strawberry to round things off. There was a problem with overbooking of treatments, which resulted in over an hour's delay, but the treatments were worth the wait, with lovely staff and fabulous treatments. I opted for a facial and added a pedicure and my companion went for a massage and pedicure. All in all we had a lovely time, which was worth the money.
The spa experience at this hotel was good...our treatments lovely and the pool/sauna etc fine. The hotel itself is rather dated (think 80s TravelLodge), the food average. The staff were lovely though. Really friendly and helpful.
