the treatment was okay. Some of the spa facilities aren't working properly, the area where you have your meal was not hygienically clean the carpet, table and fridge was filthy and there was not enough drinks available especially water.

Enjoyed it. It was relaxing even though the steam rooms were not really working. The back massage I had was good, shame it didn't last too long.
Spa staff useless! Missed out on treatment due to spa receptionists incompetence! Overall hotel was nice, food and restaurant was excellent.
Went for a girly weekend spa break with an old friend. The hotel was okay but a bit tired looking and in need of updating/refurb and this included the spa areas as well as the public rooms in the hotel (mock Tudor is soooo 1980's and was naf even then!)
The treatment (mini-pedi) was fine but was literally just cuticles pushed back, nails filed and varnish applied. The relaxation area was overcrowded so not remotely relaxing. Similarly the adults only thermal spa area was a tad busy with the steam rooms distinctly tepid. They seem to be victims of their own success.
Furthermore, the spa gift was a joke - 4 micro samples of Decleor skincare products which the Spa will get given for free.
The best bits were the pool (a decent size and shape for actually swimming in) and the decent sized bathrobes (which were included in our package).
The highlight of the weekend was the food, which was really good and far better than expected!
I really don't think the deal offers value for money when I added up the costs involved for what we got.
