I have visited The Wax Bar Edinburgh for a Hollywood wax, and I was really impressed with the result and the staff. I guess prices can seem a little more expensive compared to other places, but it's definitely worth it!
I had an amazing brazilian wax by Saty. It was my first Brazilian and she made me feel at ease and chatted away to me to calm my nerves. The quality of the wax was outstanding and I am very happy with the results. The only slight negative would be that I was not told about aftercare which would have completed the great experience. However I will definitely be back!
First appointment wasn't great- I felt the therapist was completely disinterested...but decided to persevere. Booked in again via Wahanda, first appointment was rescheduled, then I got a phone call telling me the therapist was leaving three days before my new appointment and could I make it in the day after?! I won't be back.
I had a LVL treatment in The Wax Bar. The treatment itself was done very well (lashes are nicely separated and lifted) and the specialist was friendly. It's worth mentioning that the price was very competitive in comparison to other saloons in Edinburgh. However, I have a general impression that everything in The Wax Bar is done very quickly, there is not enough time to speak about customers' needs and the overall "saloon experience" could be a bit better as opposed to other similar places. On the other hand, it is compensated by the price, so it all probably depends on what you are looking for. Personally, I think that you get a good value for money and would recommend the Wax Bar to a friend :)
