Waxing was unusually painful/difficult, the end result is uneven and there was lots and lots of wax left on my skin afterwards. The therapist was very friendly and the atmosphere in the salon is great but I was very disappointed with the outcome.
My therapist was Noreen and she was absolutely amazing! The waxing and threading service was the best I’ve had. I’ll definitely keep coming back and book Noreen as she was so kind and thoughtful! Noreen made my day! Thank you
The therapist was nice and her waxing/threading skills were great. However, I've been here a few times and I've noticed a distinct lack of hygiene being practiced. No discernible washing of the hands before the treatment, no masks are worn by the therapists even when working close to a client's face, nor are gloves worn. Even if you request that they wear a mask and wash their hands in your client notes, they'll ignore you.
Even though I booked with Bhavii as I was happy with her service before, another beautician did my Hollywood wax. She was lovely but the wax was probably the worst I've ever had. She didn't put pressure straight after pulling a strip and didn't wait till the wax was fully dry to pull, which made it pretty painful. Furthermore, I have a whole strand left on my right side and multiple broken hairs all around. The ladies are lovely as people but their techniques are not the best.
Actually I changed into Hollywood wax after talking with Bhavii. She's very nice, patient and helpful. This is my first time getting waxing and it's such a great experience. I'll come back in thef future!
