I had walked past Theo Georgio's salon many times on my trips to Sutton Coldfield but never ventured in. However, after becoming increasingly disillusioned with my local salon of six years standing (the stylists kept leaving!!), I decided to take up the great offer I had seen on this website. I booked for a cut and finish and was warmly greeted by Dani who spent a good five minutes going through what I wanted. I then had my hair washed whilst receiving a back massage from the chair! What a great start!!! Dani then explained that she would dry and straighten my hair so that she could see how it would look before cutting it! She didn't take too much off as I had requested and my hair looks and feels so much better now! She was very friendly and gave the impression she wanted my hair to look it's absolute best! Will definitely be going back again!! Loved it!!!!!

I had my hair lightened and highlighted by Rachel. Being a natural medium brown with very little colour left in I was advised to not go too blonde in the base colour as I would be disappointed and feel it was too drastic against my olive skin tone.. Which was very true! I absolutely love my hair now and it feels amazing. Very honest and professional salon :) xxx
I absolutely love this place, from the amazing massage chairs to the stylish feel of the salon. It's ace being in a salon that does not rush you.
Even for my curly rebellious hair most hairdressers pull a face when they first see it, but Dani at Theo Georgio made me feel I was her only client and made my hair look and feel like silk.
So 5 stars from me and I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone.
i really wanted to write this review as its not often people go over and above whats expected.
i have, to my shame, been colouring my own hair and made a mess of it, to the point that i didn't want to face the shame of going into a salon.
I phoned theo georgio as i have walked past many times and it always seemed nice. I used to think it was too expensive till i got the courage to walk in.
I was immediately greeted with a warm hello and asked how i could be helped. what was nice is not to be judged walking into a swish salon with not so swish hair.
i was sat down and told i had to have a skin test before i had a colour. but i was told i could have a consultation.
this is where i got blown away. we spoke about my skin tone, my eye colour, makeup preference. and even cloth colours i wore. out came the iPad and on an app i was shown what colours would suit me. i felt like my last salon was from the dark ages compared to this.
so i was told a darker cooler colour would work with my skin tone and not the lighter warmer colours thats were always making me look like i needed a sun bed session.
when the appointment came i couldn't wait and loved the end result. I'm glad i trusted them with my hair and i will not be home dying my hair any time soon. Thank you antony and katie for the amazing result. def try these two at theo georgio in sutton coldfield.
I would 100% recommend this salon. Very friendly staff, easy to talk to and take time to listen. Exceptional cutting and styling- hair just drops in to place afterwards and everybody always comments positively after I have had my hair done here! Great choice of colours for when dying your hair, good advice, lovely vibe- there's televisions playing music, cups of tea/coffee, massage chair while you have your hair washed. I would recommend their hair treatments too my hairs so soft its unreal! All in all the best salon experience ever :)
