The manicure was good and the therapist very nice as always. But it was disappointing to have to pay extra after the therapist told me that I could have a more expensive treatment without paying more because of a promotion they had "second treatment half-price" (I had a pedicure on the same day). When I got to the till I had to pay extra and was told that I could not take advantage of the promotion because I booked via Wahanda. I would have gone for the standard treatment if I knew.
The dermalogica medibac facial is great for my oily skin, and very relaxing too! I asked Kirsty to pay specific attention to the build up in my pores(which she duly did) and I was very pleased with the results.
The shellac varnish from my previous application was pretty old (almost 4 weeks) so needless to say it came off quite easily however Kirsty did a neat and meticulous job.
My nails look lovely after the re-polish provided by Kirsty. She slightly filed and shaped them to neaten them up before re-doing the shellac, I love the pale grey colour!
The receptionist was very friendly, as always, and even though I was late (train delays!) she made me feel welcome and did not make it seem like a problem. The therapist was nice and the waxing was done quickly. Therapy Hair and Beauty is conveniently located and very polite staff. I will be visiting again!
