Hollywood Waxing
My last minute request for an appointment was accepted. The staff were wonderfully chatty & friendly. The venue was bright & clean with a nice feminine, subtly modern vibe. Unfortunately though the Gel Mani Pedi was not up to par.
My fingernails look bumpy & uneven in places, with one hand bright & shiny, whilst the other is matte. At one point it felt as though my finger tips were burning under the led lamp & I had to quickly readjust, but it has left a sensation of pressure being applied to the end of my fingertips.
My toes look matte (even though I wore flip flops) and the nail edges are not smooth. Whilst an exfoliant was used my feet were too wet so it was diluted & no pumice stone was used, so I still have hard, cracked heels. I possibly needed to book the deluxe to get this, but without full treatment descriptions on Treatwell, nor any mention of nails that I could see on Facebook it was unclear what was required.
Perhaps I've been spoilt, but I've definitely had better for the price & I'll need to remedy some of the issues & apply a mattifying top coat to all.
