First time of having anything but my eyebrows threaded. so happy with the results and such a professional atmosphere.
Don't understand where the high review have come from.. the lady was lovely but this was the worst set of lash extensions I've had. Firstly, the actual experience was very uncomfortable. It was incredibly painful getting my existing lashes removed. (I have just today got the lashes from through th looking glass removed from a much more professional albeit expensive salon and i didn't feel a thing- the therapist said lash removal should never be painful) what is suprising is that the lady at through the looking glass was saying "sorry i know it's really painful" so evidently it's not because I have sensitive eyes- her lash removal must always be painful for her to say this? the experience shouldn't be uncomfortable full stop. Moving on to getting the lashes done- my eyes kept getting stuck together , afterwards I have realised this is perhaps because of the excessive amount of glue? You shouldn't be able to see glue but I could see big clumps. Also my lashes were stuck together at the end which is obviously not meant to happen. She also put long lashes in the inner corner of my eye which looked so silly. I looked on their Facebook page and in hindsight I can actually see that they do this a lot- they don't put shorter lashes towards the inner corner they just use the same length which looks very unnatural. I wouldn't have minded so much but I did specifically ask for longer at the outside end. Finally the room was very cold and I wasn't relaxed at all. Overall the fact my eyes kept getting stuck together and the glue was very visible made this a really bad experience. I do feel bad to write such a negative review but I feel the people who write good reviews for your eyelashes must have low expectations? This is more to be constructive criticism and help people who choose salons based on reviews as I myself do. But to reiterate the lady was lovely I think it is just lack of proper training or experience.

Excellent products and really good value. Will definitely be returning in March before my next trip away!
