The whole experience was a disaster. The staff didn't speak very good English, which made it hard to explain what I wanted. The treatment was also very rushed. Probably due to the long line of walk in appointment's they where excepting. The overall finish was not of good quality. It was very rough and not very shiny.
One of my nails split and broke off 2 days after the treatment. I went back and got it fixed for free. But they did cut my finger TWICE and dropped nail varnish with no lid all over the floor in front of my feet! Yikes.
I don't think I'll be going back again.
Treatment by nail technician 2•Hard Gel Extensions & Overlays
Ok at best. They were quick to get me seated but the treatment was very very rushed. The finish isn't smooth, the nails aren't even the same length! They didn't bother to file my nail properly nor push my cuticles back so after 3/4 days they are already starting to grow out. As soon as I got home I had to try to smooth it out myself. They had 3 technicians and 3 customers who had just arrived but took another 5 walk ins so you can imagine how quick they rushed through. If I didn't have a code that saved me £10 it would have not been worth it in the slightest.
Overall, the final look of the shellac looks quite nice, but bearing in mind the fact that the original price of the treatment I chose is over £30, you would expect at least a little bit of attention to be paid to the cuticles. There was no trimming or cuticle removal, and the man seemed like he was in a bit of a rush to get me out.
If you just want to get a quick shellac treatment, Top Nails is okay, but it really is not the best place to get value for your money or the best place for a more nourishing treatment.
