The pedicure was fantastic but the service was shocking. I arrived 5 minutes early and spent 10 minutes stood by their counter waiting to be served. After going up to the staff (who were busy painting nails) I was told to have a seat and it would be 5 minutes. To kill time, I made the error of going down stairs to use the toilet. When I came back two women (who I hadn't seen earlier) were picking our colours and waiting. These women went and got a pedicure BEFORE me. Seeing as I booked I thought this was odd. After over an hour of waiting I was finally seen! Sadly this also made me the last customer in the store so the 40 minute treatment was a rushed 20 minute treatment. (I refused to leave before my nails were dry despite their 'would you like to air dry them outside question/hint...) When leaving they asked me to pay? When I had already paid via Wahanda. (Trust me. If I hadn't paid in advance I would have walked out) It's a shame as the shop was clean, the pedicure was good and it was fairly cheap.
The venue was in a good location, but it was functional rather than relaxing. Speedy but... Not sure about the products either - used Gellish rather than Shellac and the UV lamp was dodgy!
A good experience all round! A lot of attention was paid to the manicure and pedicure - it felt very thorough. Will definitely go back.
Top class. Always best to let a Therapist know of any ailments before you start treatment, as the massage was firm. But he did adapt very well to anything I asked. Would return.
The salon is tiny and chaotic, with no permanent receptionist, everyone is running around and I had two different people for my manicure - one who did the cuticles, filing etc, and the second person did the painting. Very little interaction with the customers, and it looks like it's family run because my manicurist had children coming up to her while she was painting my nails - nervous they were going to nudge her! The advertised time of 30 minutes was more like 45 minutes, and one of my nails chipped that same evening. The rest remain flawless. They also have a great selection of colours. If you want somewhere to get you in and out, no fuss and no bother, this is perfect. Its a great central location too, and the manicure is overall good.
