Really annoyed with my hair cut. I asked the stylist specifically not to cut any thick chunks into my hair, because it's so curly it ends up like a Christmas-tree! I had grown it really long after the last hairdresser I saw decided short, thick chunks were for me. It had taken me years to grow it all out. And then he proceeded to make the longest part of my hair as thin as possible (and guess what? It goes super-curly now!) and the top of it really thick and heavy (which sits all flat on top of the curly bit... like a Christmas tree). I asked him as he was making the shortest, thickest cut what he was doing - he told me 'you'll like it'. I don't! I hate it! Stylists should really listen to customers. I know my own hair, I know what works and what doesn't work! All I asked for were a couple of thin layers, like nearly everyone else in the country who has long hair. It's not hard! I have no understanding of even what is happening in this haircut. I can't run a brush through it, it looks awful, it doesn't move, it just sits there - all thick chunks on top and frizz on the bottom. I'd avoid this one. I sat and painstakingly and persistently asked for no thick chunks - explaining fully that this is what had gone wrong last time.
Great hair cut! I was with Tony, he's so thorough, a real perfectionist! Great value for money and will definitely go back again.

I loved this place. I booked the 'half head of highlights or tint with treatment, head massage, cut and blowdry' and walked out very happy. Toni was amazing. He spent a very long time consulting what was best for my hair and how to achieve what I wanted. I was a little concerned with a suggestion of a side-parting and feel I still need to get used to this look - BUT everyone that has seen my hair loves it!! So maybe I'm just being a bit fussy?! The venue was amazing and the head massage was great! Will definitely be going back!!!!

I was recommended Toni by a friend and was going in for a big cut - about 7 inches. Naturally I was very nervous but Toni was reassuring and kind, definitely took my requests into consideration but also gave me his opinions. It's taken a day to get used to but I really enjoy my haircut and it was excellent value for money. I'd recommend Transition and definitely recommend Toni!

Nice salon, the guys were all very helpful and made recommendations but also listened to what I wanted done. They were very busy so it took a little longer than the norm but they kept me updated and kept the tea following. Colour looks great, very happy, would return to this salon.
