I had a great experience in Transition Salon,
however I wanted a face change but my very nice hair dresser thought it was not a great idea because I have curly hair and if I wanted to cut a lot, it should have been difficult for me to do my hair...
So He cut me the minimum and try to do his maximum to propose me the hair cut I wanted, but I would have rather cut a bit more.
Apart from that, my experience was good, staff was very nice.
And the blow dry was amazing.
I made a conscious effort to be right on time and despite this they were running 40min late so it was only 40mins in the hairdresser introduced himself. The wash was so so (the water kept switching from cold and hot), but at that point I was already upset for their lack of attention and customer service, I just wanted them to quickly cut my hair and get out of there. The hairdresser was very apologetic but was a bit too late. I doubt I would go back as there are so many hairdressers in london, I dont mediocre hairdressers like this one will survive.
I went for a cut and blow dry. My hairdresser Luca understood really well what I wanted and gave me a great haircut. I will definitely be back and would recommend this salon to everyone.
Tal did a lovely job on my cut and highlights. He both listened to me and had suggestions as well. I was offered tea and coffee more than once and even though it was busy, I didn't feel like I was being rushed. He really took his time with my blow dry too (alas, it didn't make it home, but that's just my hair, not his fault!)
The salon is clean and all the staff very pleasant. The Wahanda deal is great value, and the normal prices are commiserate with other central London salons.
My only concern is that it felt quite young - well, really, I felt a little bit too old to be there, not a reflection on anything they did wrong - but I still think I will go back, as the cut and colour are lovely.
