I wanted a nice relaxing pedicure before my spa weekend hen do. What I got was the owner moaning about a staff member who hadn't turned up, spending a substantial amount of time on the phone to clients (on loudspeaker) ,and not having a clue where she had got to with my pedicure, to the point where I had to keep telling her whether she had cured the polish. The foot spa was a home spa bath type rather than a chair, she didn't trim my nails and it peeled after four days. Will never go back.

The only good thing is how nice the ladies are. The salon itself is quite messy, which I could’ve overlooked if it wasn’t for the extreme lack of hygiene during my intimate wax treatment.
You lay down (and cover yourself) with towels that are not changed in between clients. As if that wasn’t bad enough, she used the same wooden spatula to apply the wax throughout the session. Which means the wax is contaminated by EVERY client! Terrible! Also note they strip wax, it’s not self hardening wax.
