I would have preferred the boy’s haircut to be longer than it was - too short in my opinion versus what I asked for. But I understand it’s hard to cut a 16-month’s old hair.
The girls haircut was fine. The hairstyle of braids on the side of her head to finish fell out within 10 minutes of walking to the car. Both elastics spontaneously broke out of her hair with very little movement.
Rosie didn’t seem overly excited to cut kid’s hair.
We found the other Trotters more approachable. This was the first time we were told we needed to book two appointments for a 3 year olds haircut as his hair is thick!
We've booked Trotters a few times for our son/daughter haircuts and generally had a good experience. Our hairdresser (Melina) was extremely nice and did her best to put my daughter (3) and son (1) at ease but the haircuts themselves were not great/pretty bad. Melina did ask us whether we wanted more cut/something different, but it's quite difficult to rectify/identify why/how a haircut doesn't look good when you're not a hairdresser and overall, we're looking forward to them growing out...
