Explained to the lady that our son is on the spectrum and has lots of energy. She completely didn't bat an eyelid made the experience actually very enjoyable for us as a family even though we were dreading it. The haircut was shorter than we would of liked but not the hairdressers fault, we had used previous barbers who had given a bad haircut and so it had to be short to rectify which was communicated and understood.
Thank you again! Give this hairdresser a payrise if you can she was fab!!
It was an amazing first haircut experience for my daughter! She was quite unsettled but Louisa did everything she could to make her feel more comfortable (sit on my knee, gave her a book, a toy and encouraged her to look at the fish etc.). She was also evidently very experienced, providing great advice on what cut to do and why then worked around my wriggly daughter exceptionally well! We also loved the certificate, sticker, lock of hair and chocolate coin at the end, making it a real occasion!
The hairdresser was quite clearly ill she looked terrible and had to break to go and have a coughing fit.
She also cut her fringe too short and not as instructed
