First and foremost, the end result of the haircut was good.
However the experience was not as advertised - the hairdresser didn’t seem to do anything special for a ‘first haircut’ which was marketed on the website as, ‘an experience to remember’ , ‘such a special moment’, ‘a memory that all of the family will treasure.’
Our child was very distressed throughout and the hairdresser didn’t seem able to mitigate that in any way.
It was stressful for the whole family and we had to stop early.
