Gio is the general manager of True Man Barbers and has been a barber for 20 years , having worked in high-end barbershops in Manchester for the past 12 years – where he counted many important politicians and footballers amongst his regular client. David Jones, vidic , David Platt , Peter Crouch. He considers precision to be the most important part of barbering work and as such tends to favour working with scissors, but he’s skilled with trimmers and well-established when it comes to trimming and shaping beards. Gio likes to build long-term relationships with his clients and says it’s the best part of being a barber – as is seeing the smile on a client’s face when they’re happy with their haircut
