My initial put off was when I called the spa to arrange a time. They had already agreed on a time which I did not want. I asked to be with my friends coming at 2pm. Although this was agreed I was not allowed to book in 1 more friend who wanted to join us. On the day there was plenty of time and space for 1 more person. The deal did not mention the limited time of the spa for 3 hours max. It was a day spa offer...3hours does not even amount to a day.
We were not offered any robes or shower towels. We were not allowed to use the infra red as we were told we had to pay extra...but when I read the notes...it was in fact Included.
I felt we were treated like we were underclass because we bought a deal online. I did not feel they wanted us to enjoy the day and use the spa for a treat. We travelled in from London which was a great distance as a treat for my friend.
Poor customer service is a shame as the facilities were OK.
I arrived 5 minutes late due to traffic (I called ahead to say I'd be late) and I was warmly greeted and still given the full treatment time which was great. The treatment room was nice and warm and very comfortable. They have proper massage beds (some places in TW definitely do not or they are very uncomfortable). I had a back and neck massage for 30 mins followed by an energising leg treatment. I discussed my aches and pains with my therapist before we started and she was very careful. I asked for light pressure and it was very relaxing, the best massage I've had in ages!
I've been a loyal customer of another place in TW for years but I'm really considering switching, the massage was just so much better.
