I've been meaning to do this review for a while now regarding my eyelash extensions.
The lady at Ultra seems polite enough and the salon looks nice and clean. I believe she must be the owner and probably the only one working there. But I question her ability to do eyelash extensions competently due to the following:
1. Once she had finished applying the eyelash extensions due to the excess glue applied my eyes were glued together. This is not normal! But I have to mention the eyelashes do look nice on the day they are applied, as per the pics on her website.
2. After a week I got my lashes wet so due to the excess glue they started grouping together which looked awful. I go to a different place for my lashes now and they never stick together like that even, when they dried after I got them wet, they just went back to normal.
3. I also got a sty on my eye due to the excess glue.
4. She's pretty rough, her hands were all over my face and really stretching my eyes before applying each lash & I didn't see her wash her hands.
4. When I went to the shop to show the lady how my eyelashes had grouped together she said it was because my natural lashes were criss crossed and next time I come in I should remove the lashes £5 (not get a top up) perm my natural lashes £25, then get the extensions put on again £60 (aprox). I thought this was pretty crafty the lady must have thought me gullible! Actually my eyelashes were sticking together because of the glue NOT because my eyelashes were criss crossed. I've had my eyelashes done at other places an have never been told this rubbish!
My advice would be to go elsewhere for eyelash extensions.
