At the time of booking, I was told that there was a 20% off discount for Quintain Residents but when I arrived at my appointment, they said it was 15%. Being a new business, I feel that they should have honoured this. The lady who did the massage laughed at me when I asked a simple question and when it was time to pay, another colleague ended up charging me more than I should have paid. She was unable to give me a receipt or a clear breakdown of the cost of treatments and also unable to issue a refund. She then proceeded to call her boss who asked for my bank details and told me that I will recieve my refund in the "next few hours". I had to go back 2 times to ask how my situation was being dealt with: the first time I was told that the boss had transferred me the night before which is a total lie as a simple bank transfer should not take that long. The second time, one of the girls told me to email the boss. She was very rude and defensive. I sent an email to the boss who claims that someone tried to call me and also mentioned that I had done a different treatment. Working in a field where customer service/satisfaction is important, Urban Rose has served below standards. Will not be going back or recommending to anyone.

First time trying this new salon as it’s just a 5 minute walk from me. Nice and quiet, loads of space, really nicely done, friendly staff and I was offered a drink which I always think is a nice touch. I got a pedicure and Sasha was so thorough and precise I can’t wait to book my next treatment!
