always good service here. been several times and i will continue to. great job on my nails and the salon is clean and professional!
Took quite a long time- appointment was for an hour but was in there for an hour and a half. Good service and took the time to make sure everything was done well- just a bit longer than I'd have liked
Recommend! Wonderful experience. Great staff, no frills boutique kind of place and with lots of choice for colours.
great experience in clean environment
I have tried out several salons in the NW6 area and I must say I was very disappointed by this one. The ambience was awful, no music, just silence and there were two employees wearing masks cleaning the display pots of nail varnish next to me, testing them and then taking them off, making the whole place smell of remover and polish. I appreciate it has to be done but surely behind the scenes would be more appropriate! Next the service was not friendly, the receptionist is nice but the staff don't speak any English, not that I have a problem with this if there is some sort of smile with the service, which there wasn't. Just a lot of mumbled instructions and a sigh when I asked anything and when one nail had to be redone because the technician smudged it (it now has a fairly noticeable globule of varnish!) I don't think that the manicure that I received should be advertised as "Shellac" when I actually recieved Daisy nail polish, without being informed of it. I was also disappointed by the skill of the technician and the general lack of cleanliness. I asked for a small white tip to my manicure which was done not by drawing it freehand but by applying a thick line of white and removing the excess with alcohol, something which can undermine the gel's longevity! Even with this process the technician was only able to get the line down to a 3cm thickness, which on my shorter nails looks marginally ridiculous. I understand that there are different levels of skill involved but for £29 (£5 extra I was informed as I left for the enormous white tips!) I expected a better level of service. I wouldn't go back personally as I didn't enjoy the experience but I wanted to give an honest review so that people are informed.
