First time there and I had most painful pedicure I have ever had. Three of my toes were left cut and bleeding while doing the cuticles , even though I commented she was hurting me on toe one. No apology either , I never write reviews but felt I had too it was that painful

It was my first visit to VA salon and unfortunately will also be my last. The wax was too hot and even though I informed the staff member, she proceeded to tell me the wax was the same temperature throughout and did not decrease the heat or cool it down before applying it. She also repeated the wax process 3-4 times repeatedly over the same area of skin numerous times, thus resulting in my skin essentially feeling like it was on fire. As the treatment went on, although I winced in pain numerous times and told her it was painful, she proceeded and continued to make no amendments to ease the pain. Upon telling her this was a painful experience, she merely disagreed with me and told me most of her clients say they've found it very relaxing so it must just be me. I felt uncomfortable and will never be returning to this salon in the foreseeable future.
