Unfortunately not a good experience overall. I was took to a side chair where people were having there hair cut/dried so not very private and i felt on show. Didnt have my face cleansed before the threading and wasn't given any follow up advice. Came out in spots afterwards.
AVOID. Disappointing- won’t be returning.
The woman on reception repeatedly asked the customer’s names and what treatment they were expecting, then repeated the wrong details back to people, which doesn’t really instill confidence! One customer she renamed twice despite being corrected each time.
My eyebrow wax took place on a wobbly chair, legs akimbo and crushed into a corner in full view of an overfull shop of customers and the main road outside, which bordered on humiliating in itself. Then wax was scrubbed onto my face (I’ve never known the application of wax be more painful than it being ripped off) before the beautician started scrabbling around behind me for the strips. She eventually found them after a lengthy chat with a colleague (while I was left trapped in my compromising position). I hoped once found, she would remember where they were but no, a lack of basic prep meant she wandered off between each application looking for more strips.
The nails weren’t much better. They had lost the colour I’d picked out - a nude pink/grey for a wedding- and so they picked another colour at random, insisting it was “nearly the same”. The light in the shop was so bad, I stupidly agreed and have ended up with bright orange nails.
My first task after escaping the shop was to get the gel removed elsewhere and find
Really friendly staff, asked exactly what I wanted at every point during the haircut. Will be coming back for other treatments for sure, also really good value for money. Professional, polite and did a great job.
