Initially I was skeptical of the idea of having a manicure since I’m male and had never had one before. However, I definitely recommend it to all other guys as it makes a huge difference and looks so much better. The staff are lovely and I was treated by Val who has completely transformed my nails and I will definitely book again.
The ladies at Val's were lovely but this wasn't a great experience overall. The space is so tiny that she didn't have the space to start my pedicure when I arrived, she started on my manicure instead. It was a cold day and I was wearing shoes so needless to say the manicure was not dry enough and smudged in my shoes on the way home. The manicure was fine but a bit harsh on my cuticles which were sore and my mani is chipping already just two days later. This place is cheap but not very cheerful and didn't feel value for money.

I booked to have my shellac removed from my feet with the intention of just having a pedicure/manicure and paint. Instead, thanks to some helpful on the spot advice, I was given a pedicure which really assisted with some of the pain/unpleasantness experienced in my toe nails. I am very grateful for the excellent advice i was given to take care of my feet in the future and also for how long was taken on my feet to get them back into shape - an hour and a half late on a sunday evening!
Book a pedicure here if you are experiencing any pain/discomfort/embarrassment due to problems with your feet/toes - there is somebody who can help, with chiropodist experience as well as being pedicurist.
After a perfect treatment in my hands and feet , made by Val and Fernanda was convinced by Val , to make my bikini wax for the first time . not felt pain , very professional Val definiivamente going back this salon .
I had a full shellac pedicure with Val and it was perfect! The treatment started with a footbath and I was pleased to see that the bath was lined with a plastic inner, which was removed and discarded once I had used it. Val took great care when shaping my nails, and used a paraffin wax to treat the hard skin before filing it. She also treated my feet and lower legs with a Dead Sea salt scrub, which was particularly beneficial in dealing with the dry skin I suffer from in my legs when wearing tights throughout winter! Val took great care with the shellac polish and did a beautifully neat job. The treatment concluded with a wonderfully relaxing foot massage. Throughout the time I was there, Val gave me some great tips for my skin and for looking after my hands and feet generally. This was definitely one of the best pedicures I have had, and I will not hesitate to go back again... I've been telling all of my workmates to go there too!
