We were made hot drinks on arrival & assigned to a hairdresser whom asked what the client wanted. The haircut took about 20-25 mins. It was of a good standard. There was wifi and magazines plus a closet closed door cloakroom for outerwear. The place was very clean and in the heart of the city in a hidden street with no traffic access. Overall we had no problems here and would go back.
I did not feel very comfortable when I had a facial done here, whilst I was waiting for my time slot, I felt as though the staff members around me were very catty and inhospitable, they came off as very cold and I did not feel welcomed at all, it seemed as though they were gossiping about others, as they were not making an effort to keep their voices down, they were actually the opposite; very loud and obnoxious. I had arrived an hour early, and whilst I was waiting, I would occasionally catch a staff member eyeing me. Another thing would be, whilst having my facial done, I felt very awkward, there was no relaxing music or anything to fill the void, I had tried to start up a conversation with the lady doing my facial but it seemed as if she was not that into it, so I stopped.
Hairdresser had really good knowledge and came across well experienced - fixed my hair problem! Lovely lady and conversation seemed natural. On the other hand the receptionist was the most bored/miserable person I have ever encountered - coat was taken from me but I was not told to take a seat in the waiting area or where to go, rude in general, did not understand wahanda payment
i found the manager a liittle " up her own bum" i think is the polite way to say it, SHAME really as rest of stafff were lovely and friendly so would go back xxxx
I was really impressed with the salon atmosphere and quality of cut. The hairdresser was lovely and I appreciated her opinion when cutting my hair. Will definitely return :)
